About

Designing for clarity, sustainability, and meaningful change.

I work at the intersection of user experience, communication, systems thinking, and storytelling—helping organizations make complex ideas clearer, more engaging, and easier to act on.

How I work

My approach combines research, empathy, strategic thinking, and careful communication. I begin by understanding people, context, and the wider system before shaping experiences and narratives that are useful, accessible, and purposeful.

Who are we designing for?

Every project begins by understanding people—their motivations, contexts, constraints, and aspirations. Whether the audience is a student, policymaker, community member, or organizational leader, I believe meaningful design starts with empathy rather than assumptions.

How does this fit the larger system?

Every design decision exists within a broader ecosystem of people, organizations, technologies, and environmental realities. I use systems thinking to understand relationships, uncover patterns, and ensure that solutions support long-term goals rather than isolated outcomes.

How can we communicate it clearly?

Complex ideas deserve clear communication. I combine storytelling, information design, and human-centred design principles to transform complexity into experiences that are engaging, accessible, and easy to understand without losing their depth.

Areas of focus

Strategic UX & Experience Design

I design experiences that align user needs with organizational goals. My work spans research, information architecture, interaction design, digital experiences, and strategic thinking—always with a focus on creating clarity and purpose.

Sustainability Communication

Many sustainability initiatives struggle not because the ideas lack value, but because they are difficult to communicate. I help organizations translate environmental and social complexity into narratives, identities, and experiences that inspire understanding, participation, and trust.

Storytelling & Communication Design

Stories help people connect with ideas, remember them, and act on them. I create communication systems, visual narratives, presentations, publications, and digital content that make complex subjects engaging for diverse audiences.

Experience

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across sustainability, international development, technology, education, and social impact—helping organizations communicate complex ideas through strategic design, user experience, storytelling, and visual communication.

My recent work includes collaborations with the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability, IDH, Pragati Earth, and several organizations working at the intersection of climate innovation, regenerative systems, and sustainability communication.

Alongside consulting, I enjoy exploring new ways of communicating science and nature through storytelling. I co-founded Stories Without Pictures, an audio storytelling initiative that creates immersive experiences for children around nature, conservation, and curiosity.

I believe good design doesn’t simply solve problems—it helps people see systems differently, make better decisions, and imagine more meaningful futures.

Values

Human-centred

I design with people rather than for users. Understanding real needs, lived experiences, and different perspectives is the foundation of meaningful design.

Sustainable

I care about the long-term impact of design—environmentally, socially, and organizationally. Good design should create value that endures rather than simply solving immediate problems.

Rigorous

Curiosity is most valuable when paired with evidence. I combine research, systems thinking, and careful iteration to ensure that decisions are thoughtful, intentional, and grounded in context.

Collaborative

The strongest ideas emerge through dialogue. I enjoy working closely with clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams to build shared understanding and create solutions that people genuinely support.

My perspective

I believe design has its greatest impact when it helps people understand complexity rather than hiding it. Whether communicating climate innovation, designing digital experiences, or developing strategic narratives, my goal is always the same—to create clarity that enables better conversations, better decisions, and more meaningful action.

Increasingly, my work sits at the intersection of sustainability, systems thinking, communication, and storytelling. I’m interested in how thoughtful design can help organizations navigate uncertainty, engage diverse audiences, and imagine better futures.
